High-rigidity nitrocellulose, designed to achieve different types of checking/cracking on the guitar’s surface.
It allows you to easily obtain checking, achieving the typical vintage 1960s effect characteristic of Fender and Gibson guitars.
- The checking occurs within a few days of applying the product, as the lacquer dries.
- If more pronounced cracking is needed, it can be achieved by increasing the temperature changes (thermal shocks) on the guitar’s surface.
- To enhance the cracks and the aged look once the process is finished, we recommend using our Freezing Spray combined with Relic Patina.
