One of EMGs original humbucking designs, the 58X has a classic fat, round tone with plenty of output. Loaded with an Alnico magnet and two steel bars, the 58X is voiced similar to a P-90. Played through an old Deluxe or Vibroverb amp your guitar will produce a unique voice with all the punch and clarity of an EMG active guitar pickup. The X Series peramp provides additional head room and touch sensitivity. Our solderless system makes installing this and all other EMG pickups a breeze to do on your own.
